  10. - The author should proofread the paper before submitting to the AMS.
  11.  
  12. - The title on the first page should have the first letter of major words
  13.   and any proper names, in uppercase (CAPS); other words should be lowercase.
  14.  
  15. - The running heads for the right-hand (odd-numbered pages) should have
  16.   the title (shortened if necessary) all in CAPS.
  17.  
  18. - The author(s) name(s) on the first page should be in CAPS and lowercase.
  19.  
  20. - The running heads for the left-hand (even-numbered pages) should have the
  21.   author(s) name(s) all in CAPS.  Names in running heads should match names
  22.   as given on the first page (shorten to fit only if necessary).
  23.  
  24. - The subject classification numbers should be listed as the first unmarked
  25.   footnote on the first page.
  26.  
  27. - Grant information and final publication information should be listed as
  28.   unmarked footnotes on the first page.
  29.  
  30. - Citations in the manuscript should be coded using "\cite".
  31.  
  32. - References should include all available information.
  33.  
  34. - The address, current address (if different) and e-mail address of each author
  35.   should be included.
  36.  
  37. - The .tex files should include NO "input" files.
  38.  
  39. - All definitions should be  at the top of the file and none of them should
  40.   redefine any LaTeX commands.
  41.  
  42. - Definitions should be used consistently throughout the paper.
  43.  
  44. - No definitions should be used for formatting text; only the LaTeX 
  45.   environments should be used.
  46.  
  47. - The file should contain no line and/or page breaks.
  48.  
  49. - A covering letter should be included with the electronic submission.  The 
  50.   letter should clearly identify the author, title and intended publication
  51.   series.  It should also tell us where the author can be reached throughout
  52.   the publication process.
